What would be the easiest job to get right now w/ out a college degree?

I'm thinking of doing something in sales like going door to door type of wrk..good idea or not ? I have wrk experience as a file clerk/receptionist and legal secretary but nobody is hiring me right now or the jobs available are like $8 an hr and i'm not gonna work for such low pay.
