Can fractures heal without a Dr. treating them?

I went down a waterslide 8days ago...My foot "cracked" when it ht the bottm and I cant put any weight on it at all.Most of the swelling is gone but the pain is not.I do not wrk and cant afford another ER bill or a doctor visit.
