A guy who i crush on asked me to not call or visit his job because its not profesdional...?

@my job we have yrly events & we invite special guests... I have had my eyes on a particular guy thats we have invited for 4 yrs. He finally approached me this yr which got me very happy. Anyhow the next week I visited him 2 times and brought him food as a good gesture. After the 3rd time I gave up & waited for him 2 call me. Anyhow weeks went by & in my class we are required 2 do internship hrs. I asked for his assistance &once again visited 2 more times. The 1st time he told me he had a g friend & today after my visit we talked on phone. He told me that he is in trouble @wrk because of my visits & calls so it be best if I just e-mail him. Omg I'm so embarrassed. How should I take this? @ one point I thought it wad him but he was so :) the 1st time I visited. Or is his Dpt just hating?
