Arctic Cat f7 vs MXZ 800?

I am no snowmobile expert and haven't had much experience with the ACs, but my friend has a 2001 Skidoo (not sure which one) and has had quite a lot of trouble with it. He describes it as the "Ride 10 minutes, work 2 hours" type of rig. He says the newer ones are supposed to be a lot better. I would say you should be fine with an 03-05, but don't count on me with sleds lol.
